Biederer sometimes left the studio with his models and shot pictures in the woodland and park areas close by.
These pictures had to be shot hurriedly, in case they were caught, and relied only on natural light, so the composition wasn't always as refined as in his studio work.
One particularly progressive shoot depicted two lesbian moms enjoying a picnic with their baby in a pram nearby.
There was also an entire series devoted to flirtatious scenes shot in and around a car. Since the make of the car was a Citroen, they have become known as the Citroen series, and largely featured upskirt shots of a women performing mechanical work, or posing atop the hood.
