Grundworth's identity is a mystery, but his work is easily identifiable. His focus was primarily fetish: callipygia (nice bums), flogging, medical etc. He is also known for his creative use of mirrors and having a penchant for 'full moon' photographs. That is, close-ups of female genitalia.
He also took many lesbian-themed photographs, several of them involving enemas and dildos - or objects being used as makeshift dildos ...
Like many photographers of the era, he also enjoyed taking 'upskirt' photographs. In these, the model (usually a local prostitute) is either 'caught' with her skirt accidentally hitched up, is squatting, or is bending to expose her stockings and thighs.
In fact, stockings and thighs were a common theme in the fetish work of many photographers.
As was callipygia, of which split-drawer culotte photographs were very popular.
